During the 1950s in German cinema was the genre of sentimental, often trivial home movie a la "Green is the heath" highly successful. It is not surprising that at that time also the mountains and home to Roman well found encouragement in the reading public.
Here is an example of Hanns Hunkele (1892-1959). He was successful in addition to his literary career as an actor. His novel "The Virgin on Gwänd" appeared in 1957 when AWA-Verlag in Munich. Later it was spending in 1968 in Moldavia-Verlag in Vienna (green agricultural Post Roman - v. 38) and 1969 in Rosenheim publisher Förg Rosenheim (The Alpine bookshelf)

actually Franz Xaver Hacker (1836 - 1894) and was a Catholic priest. He wrote in the late 1860s novels and short stories, in which often played his unique Catholic attitude play an important role. They played many times against the background of his Bavarian homeland or the local history.
